In Hungary, the notary prepares notarized deeds, he certifies signatures and copies and drafts contracts and notarizes statements. The hungarian notary is authorized to issue excerpt from the land registry, and also to provide information about the content of the company register.

He is further entitled to conduct probate action and other out-of-court proceedings assigned to his powers.
